In the USA, it’s very common for the price of a single cell phone plan to be around $50 or higher. Some families pay as much as $70 per family member on some wireless plans to use multiple devices. I’m very curious honestly, what are the prices of cell service overseas for smart phone usage with data. A friend of mine pays I believe $25 a month for unlimited everything in Canada, but he was an early adopter of a Toronto provider.

I’m on Vodafone here in the UK. I pay around £35 a month for my contract, unlimited calls & text and 1GB of data. I also have a free Samsung Galaxy S4 with that plan when I got it last year. My husband pays £18 for his, 100 minutes calls, unlimited text, 500MB of data and free LG G2 phone. It will really depend on what services and phone you want.

I’m in Mexico City and the larger provider offers a wide range of monthly plans, of course.

They go from 12.30 usd, which includes nothing but a decent smart phone; to a 163 usd plan that includes a nice mobile, 3350 talk minutes,  8 free numbers to text or call, 1000 sms’s, and 1.5 gb data… hard to spend all that? some may say no. Wink
