Firstly, avoid a plan if at all possible. It’s way cheaper and a lot more beneficial to get a kind of Pay-As-You-Go plan. There’s At&t’s GoPhone plan, which I use.

What others do you use? Do you have any tips to add?

Whether you choose a contract or a prepaid service, try to limit to what you effectively need. If you don`t use internet connection for work or for fun, it`s not profitable to pay $5-$10 extra for something you don`t use

Either use a pay-as-you-go plan or use bundle offer (if any), this may save money.

In addition, you can search for online discounts. In my country, there are several online retaielrs promoting discounted smartphones and accesories. For example, you can buy a HTC One with 30% discount, than the promotion of a telecommunication provider and besides it`s not locked

for internet you should take monthly package which should be cheaper than any other package.
more opportunity will take more money.
for talking, you should manage such kind of package which one has minimum fnf you need to talk with everyday.
