To some it may come as a surprise, however Verizon Fios and DSL are implementing bandwidth caps. To others, this isn’t a surprise as most internet providers have been moving to bandwidth caps for some time now. Many people suspect that the bandwidth caps are a result of IP-TV becoming such a large part of entertainment. Personally, I see these caps as very generous compared to most providers in the United States as well as in other countries. I have a cap a bit below 200GB for my DSL service and I don’t like having a cap so low, however my provider options are more limited.
