I am willing to pay $2 for each GB of traffic. Internet service provider will ensure u buy the correct data plan or charge higher price if u over use it.

$2 for 1GB of internet traffic? I`m afraid any provider worldwide will force your hand to sign for $3-$4, arguing $2 from every customer won`t cover the costs related to infrastructure and so on

At the moment, for me, it’s about $60 USD for 6mbit/384kbps service. Of course, I live in a semi rural area, however, I don’t feel that the cost for the level of service is justified. Unfortunately ISPs don’t really care about anything except profits. I’d be far happier if I were paying around $30 for that level of service which is pretty low by today’s standards.

It costs only 10$ here for this package of service.

Yeah, I’m sure it does cost only $10 in some places. I know in Japan you can get 1gbit/1gbit fiber optic service to your house or apartment for about $15-20 a month which to me is crazy. They get an advanced service for so little per month meanwhile I’m having to pay three times the amount for a service that’s looking more like a modern dial up.

I`m not very happy to say it, but the global financial crisis did something good in the end: costs related to telecommunications, as well as other current services, were reduced to save the customers` portfolio. And if they weren`t discounted, providers tried to offer more services for the same cost, as internet traffic next to voice package
With only $10, you can have more services than one decade ago
