I don’t think so, but you would be able to pick one up on Ebay dirt cheap considering how many have come out ever since the 3G, how come your thinking of getting the 3G and 4 or 5? its a lot more less advanced.

you might have reasons for looking at the not so latest model but with the 4, 4s and 5 latest units available in town, you might wanna re-consider.  =)

maybe difficult to buy brand new in apple stores now, but online selling site with 2nd hand stuff might be on handly.

Of course not. They even stoped produce the IP4S. You can easily find some users resell the 3G version.

Just a quick correction, the iPhone 4s is still in production – limited of course but it’s still being produced, the iPhone 5 is no longer being produced. Currently the phones that you can purchase direct new and shiney from most any apple store are the 4s, 5c and 5s – the reason the 5 was retired before the 4s ? well the 5c is basically the 5 in plastic for the same price.

Seriously tho look at a Moto G if your after a cheap brand quality phone however if it’s the Apple brand you want then I would look into the iPhone 4 now, a lot of iPhone 5 users are holding onto their devices it seems but ebay is your friend

the 3G wasn’t the first iPhone either, you are more likely to find a 3Gs than you are a 3G most of those are in the retirement home. Keep in mind that anything below the iPhone 4s does not support iOS 7.1 so you will be stuck with iOS 6 which can be a prolem if your wanting newer apps like hangouts for example.
