I had a flashback related to my consumer history of telecommunication services: my first postpaid plan was purchased from a cell phone retailer, a small store in the building I lived seven years ago

I guess I was convinced about the idea, since the store was close to home and I knew the saler there. What about your experience regarding stores of cell phone retailers and official stores of providers?

As a sales representative of a major provider in Romania, I have to say that this closeness isn’t what it seems

For example, if your smartphone breaks down, you will have to bring it to the official store of the provider, those retailers rarely send it to service, which creates a bad impression on the customers, precisely affecting the provider

Indeed, I came across this issue. A smartphone recently purchased went down in less than one month. I wanted to return it to cell phone retailer based on the warranty associated, but he kept arguing that it was something wrong that I did to it and that`s why it`s down

I managed though to return it to the manufacturer via the official store of my provider

I agree with Laur84 here, even if I know the store owner or it was close to home it’s still not like purchasing service from the official store.
