Is it true that if I am calling someone in Singapore, the service provider will charge both ways? Like I am calling a mobile phone in Singapore, both of us would be charged from both of our service provider? I never know about that, I thought I am the only one to be charged. This is making me feel bad to call a friend in Singapore.

If your friend is on a post paid plan, it will not be charge anything for it. Most post paid user in Singapore enjoy unlimited incoming calls. Unless the user is on a pre-pay plan, then he/she will pay for it, but at local rates also.

Best Regards

Few years ago, when I spent my holiday in Singapore, I used a prepaid plan and I encountered this situation. I didn`t understand why, but that`s the way things go there

either prepaid or postpaid, there are plans or callcards that gives free incoming calls.  but yes, you can be charge for accepting calls, but very, very minimal anyways. been singapore based for the past 10years.
