A pedometer app will count your steps. We are living increasingly sedentary lifestyles and we need to walk more, humans are designed to walk long distances. We should aim to walk 10,000 steps per day and a pedometer app makes counting your steps easy.

Put the mobile phone beside your body frequently is not good so I think we should use that app when necessary not daily.

hmmm… i wont rely on app for the purpose of pedometer. i personally feel it’s a no biggie. as long as i can see and feel that i walk 3-5 few bloack back and forth on a mornal day it will be enough for me to conclude im ok on that side. don’t need an apps to confirm it.

I didn’t have good luck with two of the apps I downloaded.  Mostly because I keep my GPS turned off on the phone.  Both of these apps were supposed to work with GPS turned off though.  I have a manual pedometer, and I know, between it and driving it once, that my work is 1.2 miles away from me.  I walk it, round trip, every day, and came up with varying distances each day with the app.  I’m sure with GPS turned on it’s different, but they just won’t work with me.
