I started working freelance about a year ago, and I found it difficult to manage my time effectively. I started using the android app Wunderlist. I believe they have an app for the iPhone as well. It helped me prioritize my to do list and it syncs with other devices in the cloud. You can also share lists with other people through a URL, which helped me when collaborating with others. My smart phone helped me organize my life and gain more free time.

I do not know is there iPhone app of Wunderlist or anything similiar to this. :-( If you find something, reply here. Thanks!

Really, smartphones have made our life easier and interesting. I am also interested in working freelance job but I do not have so much idea about it. I would be so happy if I could get few information and idea about it.

Try to make connection between what is most wanted on the market, and what you are interested to do. That always worked for me! But if you haven’t any idea, it is hard to give you. I.E. If i have an idea, i will kept for myself! :-P

If I ever become freelancer, I know how to start! Thanks for sharing

From my minimal German, I guess it`s translated as the magic list of something like this, anything I think it`s meant to organize your work into the most efficient way

I’ve been doing freelancing for the longest time and work with two teams in 2 countries and will soon occupy myself in a third country outside of the teo teams, we use redmine plus any of the mobile apps that work with redmine to get the job done.

List apps are great for one man and his dog but once you get into a team or multiple persons they quickly become useless, although saying that Trello is probably the best web/mobile app (free) that can do team based lists with live updates.

with my very minimal freelance work, wonderlist is still not needed.  still rely on skype and the basic dropbox.

Google Calendar is my godsend That tied into Google Now and Google Keep (I’m a little Google centric these days) and I’m kicking ass all day long.

their is a longer more complex answer but the simple response would be it works in the cloud so no matter what phone you use, what laptop you use online or offline… it works. The longer answers draws into the problems of storing events in a local or two way system like outlook i.e if one or both systems fail the events are lost where as if they are in the cloud – i need google to fail before I have a cause for concern
