I’ve been trying to find a nice weather application for IPhone. I currently use WUnderground, however, the dopplar radar map tends to be very slow and cumbersome. I’m not sure if it’s just wireless or it’s the actual app performance but it’s terrible at times.

My primary preference is to have a radar animation option to check current storm coverage, severity,  and storm direction.

I suggest AccuWeather; it’s free, and provides hourly, daily and 15-day weather forecasts that could be integrated with calendar. It also forecast data for incoming severe weather events such as thunderstorms, high winds, tornados…etc.

Additionally to AccuWeather, I recommend The Weather Channel, is available on Android and Windows Phone, being a more compact app

You will find in one widget everything about temperature, wind and visibility. As a I travel a lot, due to my job, it`s esential to know how to prepare myself and the car for the road
