Android 4.4 is pretty cool although the emulated NFC functionality is probably one of the lesser features I would care about (bump for example has handled this in the past) the stuff i liked are:

  • Full album art on lockscreen
  • improved Google now support (although phones with a sep voice recon chip will benfit the most (moto X)
  • immersive mode is a big win, more so for tablets!
  • the new dialer is kickass
  • hangouts + sms all under hangouts now
  • caller id lookup (requires data to perform at it’s best

lots more features more so in the office space and in optimizing the code but overall it’s a good release (dalvik is a big one too)
