If I had to have a list of the things that I’d love in a smart phone device this would be it:
- Processing power comparable or better than the IPhone.
- High resolution screen.
- High resolution camera and flash.
- Expandable storage via memory card.
- Non proprietary docking port / OS.
- Rich and highly reviewed app library.
- Extra durable touch screen glass.
- Easily replaceable battery.
- Unlocked, no carrier restrictions.
- Strong warranty service, 2+ years.

You definitely have so little demands from manufacturers
In addition to what you have already mentioned, I would stress the idea of unlocked units. I mean if I buy a smartphone and I surely don`t buy it with $1, I want to be its owner, not a sort of borrower, who can unlock it after the subscription is over

I have even less demands!
Before I bought my current phone I was looking for bigger screen, high quality camera, and of course affordable smart phone! And there are plenty of smart phones in the markets which provides these specifications, I had to ask around to decide which one I was going to buy.

Whenever I`m tempted by attractive promotions, I usually test the gadget in the showroom and see what`s able to do
If I`m satisfied by speed, clarity of pictures, sound during playing, I will add it to my checklist and finally, decide after comparing it with similar products

For me, the camera is all important.
The camera and phone service!
After that – accessing the internet!
I like a big phone with a large screen, too.
