Do you get calls from cold callers? I believe this is quite a normal thing in the UK (and around the world). One good thing about having a display screen to show numbers (both in smartphones and landlines) is you can view the number of the caller and can distinguish it if you know the callers or not. That’s how we can filter our calls in the house. We don’t usually answer numbers we don’t really recognised, especially the ones with 0800 (or the likes) numbers.
