It looks like AT&T is attempting once again to terminate their obligation to maintain POTS and DSL lines in Illionis. They’ve been trying to do this in several states over the last few years as they seem to want to go fully wireless and limited fiber in some areas. This isn’t good at all for consumers because they intend to replace their DSL service with LTE with very low bandwidth caps. (source)
