You can manage basic info about your YouTube channel such as channel name and description, translations, and links.
YouTube now allows content creators the flexibility to customize their channel’s name and photo without affecting their Google account identity. Creators are no longer constrained to having matching names across YouTube and other Google services like Gmail. They can craft a unique brand for their YouTube presence, separate from their personal Google profile.
You can change your YouTube channel name, just make sure it follows YouTube Community Guidelines. After changing your name, it may take a few days for the new name to update and display across YouTube. If you change your YouTube channel name and picture, it will only be visible on YouTube.
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left menu, select Customization and then Basic info.
- Enter your new channel name.
- Click Publish.
Enter the relevant keywords for the tutorial.
Provide the complete url of the video starting with http.
