Should I charge the battery of my phone after it shows 'Low on Battery'? Or should I do it daily irrespective of the amount of charge shown by the display?

Weel, it depends when you should charge your phone. But to be on safer side charge it whenever you think you will be going out.  Sometimes it happens that you are playing games and you do not want to miss the game you keep on playing. Sometimes its good to charge your phone when the battery is all drained.

Lithium-ion batteries which are used by most smartphones today will have it's best life when it has 30-80% charge. Letting it drain or reach its low battery level will cause the Li-ion cycle to do a complete cycle all the time which will reduce the life of the battery earlier than it's supposed to have.

With older battery technology they used to reccommend completely discharging it then charging it full to prolong the life. However I do believe that with Lithium Ion batteries its much the other way, if you keep the capacity as full as you can for as much as you can then it holds its charge better, Plus this is better for you as you arent risking having a low battery
