How do I send messages to list of contacts in whatsapp without selecting them individually?

I would want to send the messages on a regular basis to list of people. But the people in the list shouldn't know that the message is sent to many. I don't want to create a group since everyone in the group knows the others. Does whatsapp have the option to create private contact list?

Hello, there's a feature in whatsapp that allows you to do that. It's called Broadcast List and it lets you send a message to several of your friends at once without having to make a group.To create a broadcast list:

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Press the  button.
3. Select Broadcast Lists.
4. Press the speaker icon in upper right corner.
5. Type your contacts' names or press the  button to choose from your contact list.
6. Select Create List.
