You will have to use an editor, I prefer those which allow you to synchronize your content with your cloud, so you can easily retrieve your document, if something bad happens to your smartphone.
One option can be Google Drive and the other one One Drive, you simply click on New and you are ready to create your document, as Word compatible or some other format
