How to set download location of Netflix movies in your mobile?

Netflix allows you to download movies and TV shows for offline viewing on mobile devices, but it doesn't give you direct control over choosing the download location. The downloaded content is stored within the Netflix app and can only be accessed through the app. Here's how you can download content on Netflix:

  1. Open Netflix App: Open the Netflix app on your mobile device.

  2. Browse for Content: Browse or search for the movie or TV show you want to download.

  3. Download Icon: When you find the content you want, tap on it to open its details page. Look for the download icon, usually a downward-facing arrow, next to the title. Tap the download icon.

  4. Choose Download Quality: Netflix offers different download quality options, such as Standard or High. Choose the quality you prefer. Higher quality will take up more storage space.

  5. Download Progress: Once you tap the download icon, the download will start, and you'll see a progress bar indicating the download status.

  6. Access Downloads: To access your downloaded content, go to the Netflix app's menu and look for a section like "Downloads," "My Downloads," or something similar. Your downloaded movies and shows will be listed there.

That's because Netflix will delete your saved video after your premium is expired. If you want to save the file forever, you may need the help of 3rd party downloader.

Locate the Account page link from the drop-down menu on Netflix website or the More tab on the app, where you will find the Download Location. It is originally set on the default storage location of the device. But from here, it can be changed to the desired location. It is advised that the videos are saved in a location with more storage capacity. 

Let's see how can you use this Feature 

Open Netflix Mobile App like this

Open Screen whom you are watching Netflix 

Now Home Screen will appear in front of you. 

Select "More" option in bottom right corner of page like this

Now click on the option "App Settings" like this

At the bottom of page you can see an option of "Download Location". 

Click on it 

Now as I didn't insert Micro SD card so I have only internal memory available. 

You can choose either Internal Memory or Micro SD card option. 

Click on "OK" after selecting memory option

Your storage space option is now changed successfully.
