How to clear chat history in a WhatsApp group?

Are there any options available to clear the chat history of a WhatsApp group?

Answer 1

To delete a conversation or Group Chat

1. Go to the Chats screen.
2. Tap Edit in the top left corner.
3. Tap the circle on the left of the chat you wish to delete.
4. A Delete button will appear. Tap to delete.

To clear all chat history, but continue to participate in groups

1. Go to WhatsApp > Settings > Chats.
2. Scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Clear All Chats. 
   Note: Using Clear All Chats will not remove you from any groups
